The Farewell Milonga is in the same Shibuya district as the Championship venue, a space where you can make noise even in the middle of the night.
Championship contestants are several times better off if they buy in advance anyway.
Every year, after the tense battle is over, the new champions, the judges, and the participants from Asia all drink and talk at the official Farewell Milonga! This year, as in previous years, the event will be held in a large space in Aoyama, where there will be plenty to drink, eat, and tango!
The price will be high if you buy the tickets on the day of the event, so it is said that it will be cheaper if you buy them individually ahead of time.
The price for the championship participants is ￥2,000 yen, including one drink ticket, while the price for the general audience is ￥5,000 yen on the day, but ￥3,500 yen (including one drink) with the early bird discount. The early bird discount is ¥3,500 yen (with one drink), and ¥3,000 yen（$19) if you buy by June 22. It’s better to buy before the event.
